Moving to oneness. Nourishing curiosity. Embracing differences. Becoming one. As the light is fading away and the sky turns into this darker grey, the last birds are chirping here and there. And it is a beautiful sound and calmness, or sound, I should say, that brings calmness during this twilight. Especially today because it comes earlier. Here in Germany, we changed a time from summer to winter time in the middle of autumn. Hello everyone. I'm Meilin Ehlke, your host of the Moving to Oneness podcast. Yeah, it's a double gift.
00:01:41 - Meilin Ehlke
First I can sleep in much longer. I love to sleep in, especially wake up without an alarm clock. That's a gift. I give myself enough sleep. And I love also the evenings or the early nights because the surrounding is so calm. I can watch the moon, I can see the stars. And I become creative. I don't know about you, when do you become creative? But first when I'm fully rested. So that's why I gift myself the sleep. And also when everyone else is sleeping, there's a different quietness.
It is like an exhale of the world, probably nature too. And I can go into the energy and the creativity of what wants to be created, what is being needed in the future. It's really interesting. And often at night I at least get one thing done that I thought I would love to get done. And at night often is also a moment when I write into my book without lines. I love to write then on white sheets of paper.
00:02:59 - Meilin Ehlke
And yesterday it was a fun. There was a certain time I gave myself like 20 minutes of writing and I hadn't written in a while. Taking care of family and my own things, traveling, etc. And I love the sound of the pen running over the paper because it's such smooth paper and a cool paper. And you know, I noticed also that my writing got larger. For me, that shows I'm becoming even more creative than I have ever been.
00:03:34 - Meilin Ehlke
And I love that everyone. I'm celebrating that right now, today as well. And it's interesting that it started into the day where I can digest it also longer, right? It's like the gift of one extra hour. So what do we do during the night when we have that extra hour? Did you ever think about that? So often we maybe travel at night.
We don't even lie in bed. You may have noticed that as well. Often during the nights I don't dream, I know I'm traveling. And then also our body is there to digest or integrate what I have learned or what I have thought about. I did say experience and also what I desire to create that is really important. And I don't know if you heard that from me before, but I invite you to go to bed early enough that you need about 20 minutes to fall asleep.
Because then you go in a deanimation, it feels like you're still awake in that state, but you can't really move anymore your fingers. And that is a perfect time for you to. I won't even use the word desire, dictate what you want. What you want the next day to happen, maybe in next week, next month, next year, or even further along.
00:05:08 - Meilin Ehlke
So that's the time to concentrate on your purpose and how it should unfold. Always leaving enough playroom, because it is like a dance that other things can unfold, we can't or you can't or I can't even imagine yet. Right. So there's this fine line of dictating life and at the same time staying totally open, so we can enjoy and explore what arises out of the blue. But if you look back really straight from afar, then you see how many things did happen that you envisioned. So if you follow your vision and you follow your instinct, you follow your inner desires, that really come from deep within, these things will happen. And you may notice then even faster that they're being materialized or that you are implementing things faster.
The second thing is why it's important to give time to the deanimation is because that's the phase your body heals in. Yeah. And your body is a fantastic self healer. You have to give it time. And a good way to figure out if you're too tired.
If you don't have those 20 minutes, if you put your head down on the mattress or on your cushion and you fall asleep right away or within the next five minutes, then you're over tired. And the other thing is then your body doesn't have enough time to repair itself. So try to go that route a little bit and explore it a little bit and see if that may help you in many ways.
I would like to go back also to the evenings. I noticed that in my son when he was younger. He has still that tendency when it's outside quiet people have fallen asleep or are more relaxed. Then he became a creative and he worked in his room and built things with legos or whatever he could find in his room or what he had brought in from outdoors.
00:07:23 - Meilin Ehlke
I always also opened the windows to let in a lot of fresh air, especially for sleeping, that you have enough fresh air. If you're not an open window sleeper and also for that creative time that the cells have enough oxygen.
Yeah. And what is also so beautiful in the evening is the lights. You have the lights that shine, the street lights starting to happen. Or maybe you put on lights in your room. Take also the opportunity to buy or look for lights that fit your mood, that don't hurt, your eyes, that are not too bright. Maybe you have a dimmer or you have instead of one bright light, you have a few different lamps that stand or desk lamps.
Or maybe, you know, there's these light strings. I have them on all year long because I love that light. It provides 'Gemütlichkeit'. I love this German word. It provides a playfulness, which I love a lot. And it's strung around my plants. It's very three dimensional. It creates even a space within the space. And you know me, I love that. I love creating spaces within spaces within spaces. And probably you too. Yeah, we're all sorceresses or sorcerers. And then we do love to have the ability to shift. Right. So there's also a shifting happening from the hustle and bustle of the daylight, which is also beautiful. So you know me, it's the sunshine and whatever. It's also very invigorating. But it is time to really enjoy also now the longer evenings.
00:09:19 - Meilin Ehlke
And maybe you have a fireplace at home. What do you do to give a beautiful atmosphere to your home and create that atmosphere so you can feel better. So again, that's medicine for you.
Maybe you make a nice tea that you enjoy. Yeah. Give a little extra special attention to it, how you brew it, that it is a really good quality of that tea, that you drink.
00:09:49 - Meilin Ehlke
Right. So take some extra time for yourself. Maybe you are going to read a good book, listen to fantastic music and notice how you expand. You can settle into yourself. You exhale, you have a longer rhythm of inhale and exhale. Right. Because you're not rushed. This is very relaxing for the brain, your body. And again you go into the state of being connected to everything. That's fantastic. The magical word fits here, right? It's magical. And do look also that you have here and there some yellow tones that you're bringing from the day also into the evening. Maybe you put candles on.
And now in Germany, slowly, we're celebrating with many others, Halloween. We have a holiday in Germany, Allerheiligen, on the 1st of November, where we give thought to the ones that passed. So I already got a beautiful candle for my little grave I spoke recently about for my cats. So I can create a beautiful atmosphere when I think about them or communicate with them when I honor them and I thank them for having spent time with me and my family.
00:11:20 - Meilin Ehlke
So who are you thinking about now? This week becomes important. Who is there that has passed on, that provides support to you, that gives you advice? Or maybe you have never tried connecting to your ancestors or the animals that have lived with you? Do try it.
00:11:40 - Meilin Ehlke
Just become very calm. If you have a grave to go to, please go there. Otherwise you can just sit, close your eyes maybe and connect with them. Take a few breaths that you relax, and then the connection is easy. And let's see what flows. Invite them to communicate with you and you reach out to them. Right. And already you've built up a connection. The telepathy works wonders. I also want to connect more to my grandparents and ancestors prior. I've thought about that on my recent drives. I was telling you I was traveling a lot to also get information about their life and what advice they have for me that I can implement, integrate into my life, because they understand me a little bit of where I want to go. Right. I have a long line going thousands and thousands and thousands of years back of healers in my families.
In both of them, not everyone lived it. Not everyone was trained in it. But sparks up here and then. Everyone who in your family has it and maybe didn't live it or didn't speak about it was very quiet about it. That's a nice way to go. Also, in a way, there's this thankfulness that we're here at this moment, that I'm living now, that you're living now. So a thankfulness going backwards that they lived so we could be now. I think that is just, buff, there's no word for it, but you know what I mean.
00:13:34 - Meilin Ehlke
There's a beautiful feeling going with it. Yeah. Allerheiligen. I didn't say it's like all saints. I don't even know. I think that's what it's called in English. So it's really all spirits. If I would translate it. And they're very Shamhain. Right. If you go look at the Celtic or the Scottish, the Irish name, and then Christianity put on an other name. Other cultures have it as well. It's also a little cooler already. Here in Germany, what we do, everyone does these wreaths and brings them to the grave. You take pine needles and flowers. It's a beautiful gift. So what can you gift your ancestors?
For a long time? I did one that I learned from one of my teachers, where I learned more about how I always have done the physical channeling.
It was putting down five glasses of water of pictures of some of the ancestors of both lines on an alter. And giving some food here and there. And the same thing you can do also gift, for example, if you don't want to connect to your ancestors, you can give gifts, for example of pears or apples to nature, to a certain tree. You can give it for the dwarfs and the tree people, or people that live in the forests or beings, I should say, the fairies and many more. The insects love it, the worms love it. It's an exchange of your energy because you had them in your hands when you put them down. The apple information. Oh, there's something beautiful. If you slice an apple horizontally and you open it, you can see a star in there. I learned that from the elves. A very beautiful thing.
So, yeah, have fun. And there's. It's not just fun, but a way of gratitude. Achtung. Giving regards or respect, I think you say also in English to anything that is living and that has lived on this beautiful planet. And maybe because the time changes also soon where you live or already has changed, depending where you live on this beautiful planet.

Maybe you're noticing that you're waking up a little earlier. So maybe you're waking up between 2, 3, 4pm, 5, 6, wherever you live, close to equator or not. Where then the light dawn, you know, where the light comes during dawn. And you notice then how the birds wake up and sing the song of the new day. Puccini, who has passed, right? Three weeks ago he would always four now he would wake me up for almost two years, right around dawn, just before the sun came over.
00:17:11 - Meilin Ehlke
Because then the birds are really, really, really, really loud. If it's a little earlier, then maybe you can notice how everyone is waking up. And then as soon as the sun came up and we both were then greeting her. Oh, and sometimes this moon was still shining. Then everything became more quiet.
So that is also the time then maybe to think about who you are. That's a great time to be in the energy of the world, of the earth, of nature. So see if that maybe suits you, if you're an early riser and do not live more my rhythm.
And maybe you're like me, you can do that. And then I went back to bed. I don't know. Puccini stayed outside then for a while. And then later he would join me again. But find what is for you there that enlivens you. And but what also gives you calmness to explore.
Now, over the winter it goes more into what do bears do hibernate where you eat. Now maybe a little more, you would spend more time with cooking. The dishes may become heavier if you more in the northern hemisphere. In the south you do exactly the opposite. It becomes lighter.
But for here now, in the north, to get ready to maybe pull out again what is deep within you. Take those evenings to wright or those early mornings whenever you find time, so you can concentrate on what is to be created for you. What do you need to create? What is needed to be given to you? Maybe advice from your ancestors. Maybe you go look for advice. Maybe you know the people who have it for you, be courageous enough to connect with them, to invite them to speak with you and so on.
So, I wish you a beautiful twilight, especially, you know, before we go into the Christmas season and the Christmas markets, because that's more of the little time for you.
00:19:25 - Meilin Ehlke
Maybe you go for a walk and really sense the exhale. So again, where can you exhale in your life? What have you done? The great things you have done that you have accomplished and are accomplishing over and over for yourself, for your family, for your friends, for your colleagues and for the world.
00:19:50 - Meilin Ehlke
